Blessed Cayenne! I love to talk about herbs that I have been using to help restore and nourish my body. Herbs are God's gift to us to help cleanse, nourish and regenerate our bodies so they can function at their optimal level. Over the generations of time we have inherited weakened organs that have become more susceptible to disease and imbalance. Herbs can counteract those weaknesses by giving the body those nutrients they need to regenerate those weakened organs and to fight off disease. This month I want to focus on Cayenne. Cayenne pepper (capsicum) is such a powerful herb and loaded with so many 'golden' qualities. It is mostly known for its heat units and added spicy flavor in our food but it has many other benefits for the body both internally and externally. Health Benefits: |
Cayenne is a stimulant. It is an excellent circulatory stimulant that feeds the cell structures of the heart, arteries, veins and capillaries and in doing so they regain a healthy elasticity which bringing blood pressure back to a normal range. Cayenne equalizes blood pressure thus helping the heart to not become overworked. Cayenne is rich in vitamin C, A, B, and G. It is also a great source of vitamin E which is a cleansing and nourishing food for the heart! It will stop internal hemorrhaging. It is a perfect remedy for a heart attack since it instantly gets blood flowing throughout the body and reboots the heart.
Cayenne is a gastric stimulant and digestive aid. It rebuilds the stomach tissues and intestinal wall. It stimulates other actions when combined with other herbs to do different jobs in the body. For more information go to: http://www.herballegacy.com/Cayenne_History.html
My favorite first aid Herb is Cayenne pepper. I use it for all cuts, infections and open wounds. Placing Cayenne powder on a bleeding cut will stop the bleeding within 10 seconds. I have used this one many times and it never fails to amaze me. The cut won't become infected and the scaring is minimal. For major wounds I recommend drinking some cayenne in water along with packing the powder in the wound. I also use Cayenne salve for muscle aches and pains. I find it relieves the muscles and relaxes them.
Cayenne pepper can be taken daily as a regenerative aid for the body.
Take a pinch of cayenne in a glass of water and work up to 1/2 tsp in one glass of water twice a day. You will be amazed at the changes that will start taking place in your body. You can increase the dosage up to 1 tsp of cayenne with water if you want! Now that will give you a kick!!
Have a happy healthy day!
